Join fellow art enthusiasts and collectors for the 2012 INFOCUS Photography Exhibition and Silent Auction at Phoenix Art Museum on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 5:30 - 9pm. This annual fundraising event features more than 50 signed limited-edition prints and books for sale by acclaimed photographers from throughout Arizona and the United States. Proceeds benefit INFOCUS, a nonprofit support organization of the Museum that fosters the appreciation and advancement of photography through educational programs, exhibitions and publications.
Selected by Becky Senf, Norton Family Curator at the Center for Creative Photography and Phoenix Art Museum, the artworks represent a variety of photographic techniques, from black-and-white to color, and traditional to digital. Subjects include landscapes, nudes, abstracts and still lifes, with a range of prices for every budget. Bids start as low as $200 for selected items. Raffle tickets are only $20 and offer the opportunity to win extraordinary prizes, including photographs by Debra Bloomfield, Mark Klett, Alex Webb and Dr. John P. Schaefer.
