Join fellow art lovers and collectors for this exciting annual fundraiser and exhibition, now in its ninth year. The 2017 PhotoBid features a unique selection of contemporary photographs, photography books, and photography-related opportunities on which to bid. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just starting out, PhotoBid is a fun, welcoming event featuring a live auction and limited edition photographic works by acclaimed photographers from Arizona and the United States. Mingle with people who share a passion for photography and bring home an original work of art – all for a great cause!
Curated by Dr. Rebecca Senf, the Norton Family Curator of Photography at Phoenix Art Museum and Chief Curator at the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, PhotoBid will offer both silent and live auction components, featuring more than 50 signed limited-edition photographic prints and books by acclaimed photographers throughout Arizona and the United States. In the three weeks preceding PhotoBid, the auction pieces will be shown as an exhibition in the Norton Photography Gallery at Phoenix Art Museum for bidders and the public to view. All proceeds benefit Phoenix Art Museum and its photography support group, INFOCUS.
