The Art of the Human Experience
February 18, 1pm - April 29, 3pm
In this six-part workshop, consider how artists have interpreted common human experiences in their works. While some take everyday objects and turn them into art, others seek to capture and interpret our day-to-day lives or the passing of time. With this concept in mind, contemplate provocative questions, explore the Museum's collection, visit four special exhibitions and create an altered book to discover art in life and life in art.
Cost: $65 for Museum Members, $80 for non-members; includes materials. This program for adults aged 50+ is limited to 20 participants and takes place at Phoenix Art Museum. For more information or to enroll, contact ASU's Lifelong Learning program (after January 4) at (602) 543-6440 or visit http://lifelonglearning.asu.edu. |
