First Friday at Phoenix Art Museum

Every First Friday, Phoenix Art Museum offers free general admission and discounted special exhibition admission* from 6 - 10PM. This First Friday we are excited to welcome back The Whole Story with Part 2, the second installment of a storytelling series that seeks to broaden perspectives with personal stories that honor the black experience in Arizona. Interested in learning more about Contemporary Forum (CF), the museum support group focused on the appreciation and understanding of contemporary art?   Join CF for a free private tour with our chief curator, Gilbert Vicario, followed by a cocktail hour at Palette, the museum café. Open Mind / Open Mic

#ByTeensForTeens   Calling all teen poets, storytellers, scribblers, and wordsmiths: Poe(treat) Yourself! Whether you’re a rhymer or free verser, come find inspiration at Phoenix Art Museum. Experiment with different ways of creating a poem and share--if you’d like—during the open mic at the end. We’ll have coffee (creativity juice) and treats. Free All middle school and high school students welcome  6 - 8:30 PM   Teen programs are supported by Thunderbirds Charities, with additional support by the Craig R. and Barbara M. Barrett Foundation along with the Alice and Jim Bazlen and Jane A. Lehman Foundation.
