This month's tour led by Becky Senf, Norton Family Assistant Curator of Photography will include highlights from the current exhibition Iconic Arizona: Celebrating the Arizona Centennial. Take a visual tour of the state's famous places and iconic symbols, from the Grand Canyon to the Hoover Dam, and from the majestic saguaro to San Xavier del Bac.

Explore Taliesin West

February 25, 1pm March 4, 2pm April 27, 2pm Contributor, Supporter, Sponsor, Patron and Circles of Support Members are invited to attend a private Phoenix Art Museum Members 90-minute Insights Tour of Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home, studio, and architectural campus.
Experience first-hand Wright's brilliant ability to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces. Visit the Cabaret Theater, Music Pavilion, Seminar Theater and Wright's private office–all linked by dramatic terraces, gardens, and walkways overlooking the rugged Sonoran Desert and Valley below. Also included on the tour is the living quarters and the dramatic Taliesin West living room. Visitors sit in Wright-designed furniture and experience the drama of being a guest in Wright's famous home. Learn how the site relates to the natural desert, about Wright's basic theories of design, the history of the site and the activities of Taliesin Fellowship community life. Taliesin Today

In 2012, the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture celebrates 80 years in session, with Taliesin West celebrating 75. From earnest beginnings in 1932, "The Taliesin Fellowship" has evolved into a modern-day, accredited school of experiential learning and the hub of sustainable and green design. Today, Taliesin remains a popular and vibrant community of architects, students, educators, and artists from around the world.
Circles is proud to welcome guest speaker Jason Silverman, Residence Life Coordinator at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, Taliesin West. Mr. Silverman first came to Taliesin in 1987 and describes contemporary life at Taliesin West and how its traditions and culture have evolved since the times of Mr. and Mrs. Wright.
