She will discuss The Plains of Sweet Regret and the changing face of the northern plains. Mary Lucier is celebrated for her multi-monitor, multi-channel video installations. Since 1971, she has explored the theme of landscape as a potent metaphor for loss and regeneration. Poetry Reading: Ada Limón

As part of the University of Arizona Poetry Series, Ada Limón will give a talk at Phoenix Art Museum on First Friday, April 6. Limón is the author of four books of poetry, including Bright Dead Things, which was named a finalist for the 2015 National Book Award for Poetry, a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award, a finalist for the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award, and one of the Top Ten Poetry Books of the Year by The New York Times. DanceFest 2018

DanceFest is a free annual event featuring five high schools, four colleges, and several professional dance groups and artists of local and national prominence. The event includes mainstage and select gallery space performances of mostly new work, dance film screenings, and an interactive dance experience.
