Make It!: Triad Compositions

Join Phoenix-based artist Hannah Irene Walsh to create your own three-part, mixed media composition. Gather inspiration from 16th-century triptychs featured in Selections from the Schorr Collection. Consider theme, symbolism and visual harmony as you design your own triptych to take home.  Teaching Artist Bio Hannah Irene Walsh is a multimedia artist and lifelong Phoenix resident. She graduated with her Master of Fine Arts from Arizona State University in 2017, and currently teaches studio art classes at GateWay Community College. A teen-curated monthly program, #Untitled is a little different each time. March is all about the creative process, particularly sharing your work. This is a FREE event for teens taking place on First Friday, March 2nd. RSVP at! Teen programs are made possible through the generosity of Thunderbirds Charities, the Craig R. and Barbara M. Join Phoenix-based artist Giovana Aviles to explore layering and repetition of unconventional design materials. Gather inspiration from Iris van Herpen's sculptural garments in Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion as you contribute to a community piece and/or create your own accessory to take home.
