Ulrich Boser is the author of The Gardner Heist: The True Story of the World’s Largest Unsolved Art Theft, which became a national best-seller and has been optioned for film. Circles Curator Tour: Border Crossings: Mexico and the American Southwest

4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Circles of Support members are invited to join Vanessa Davidson, the Shawn and Joe Lampe Curator of Latin American Art, and Betsy Fahlman, adjunct curator of American art, for an exclusive Circles curator-led tour of Border Crossings: Mexico and the American Southwest. Border Crossings: Mexico and the American Southwest represents a cultural conversation between Mexico and the United States. Paul Pletka’s triptych introduces this installation, a monumental work inspired by Mexico’s Spanish Colonial and Pre-Columbian heritage as well as contemporary Mexican-American culture. 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Circles of Support members are invited to join Becky Senf, the Norton Family Curator of Photography, for an exclusive Circles curator-led tour of To Be Thirteen: Photographs and Videos by Betsy Schneider. In 2012, photographer Betsy Schneider embarked on a project to explore the experience of being thirteen.  Traveling around the United States, the Guggenheim grant recipient chronicled the lives of 250 13-year-olds, creating still portraits and video documentation of each. “I began with my daughter, her friends and other children I already knew.
