Circles of Support – Circles Speaker Program: European Master Paintings

Hear from Phoenix Art Museum Sybil Harrington Director, James K. Ballinger, as he discusses the behind-the-scenes story of how this long-term loan of Old Master paintings made its way from London to Phoenix. Dr. Jerry N. Smith, Curator of American and Western American Art, will preview how these spectacular paintings will be integrated within the Museum’s galleries to enhance the daily presentation of European art for our community.

Drawn from one of Europe’s largest, private collections of Old Master paintings, the 14 carefully-selected English, Dutch and Italian paintings from the Schorr Collection date from the 16th to 18th centuries.
