Make It!

Visual Circuits

Artists solve problems! Join intermedia artist David Guerrero for creative experiments with simple circuits. Create your own composition inspired by Yayoi Kusama's You Who Are Getting Obliterated in the Dancing Swarm of Fireflies with LED lights, copper tape, a coin battery, paper and colored pencils.

David Guerrero is a Mexican born artist based in Arizona and studied intermedia art at Arizona State University. His art revolves on the study of new technology, animation, rapid prototyping and fabrication. David seeks to mix traditional art methods and tech-influenced art to create opportunities for discussion and innovation.

Free, no registration required. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Make It!

Make It! is a monthly drop-in, family-friendly, hands on art-making activity for all. Each month features a different activity inspired by objects in the Museum’s collection or current exhibitions. Each month also features collaborations with different local artists to create activities that introduce participants to new materials, perspectives and ways of connecting. Make It! is free and is part of #PhxArtFamily and #FreeAfterThree (each Wednesday, general admission is free from 3pm-9pm).
