Deborah Nadoolman Landis is an Oscar-nominated costume designer, historian, and Senior Curator of Hollywood Costume. In addition to designing iconic costumes for films like Blues Brothers and Indiana Jones, Landis has published various noteworthy texts on the significance of costume design in film.

10:50-11:35 - Dierdre Thieman, Manager, Production Archives & Collections Universal Studios Operations

Dierdre Thieman is responsible for managing and maintaining the vast archives and collections of Universal Studios, making her one of the key sources in Hollywood for any discussion of the history of costume design and Universal’s extensive collection of film memorabilia.

Beth Werling, Collections Manager, Material Culture, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County

Beth Werling specializes in the history of the motion picture industry and is responsible for managing the Natural History Museum’s motion picture costume collection along with the rest of their extensive collection of three-dimensional objects.

Deborah Ambrosino is a specialty costume designer, milliner and metalsmith most recently known for her work on The Avengers, Star Trek, and Thor.
