Contemporary Forum Studio Tour: Linda Kilgore

PLEASE NOTE: This is an off-site event.

Contemporary Forum (CF) will be hosting a private tour of artist Linda Kilgore's Studio in Scottsdale.

About the Artist
Linda Margaret Kilgore is known primarily for her sculpture and installation work. Her main material for some years has been steel. Recently, she has been been re-inventing her studio and working methods, as well as developing an Artist-in-Residency program with the Sanctuary Resort in November as both the Director and their first Artist-in-Residence.

Artist Statement
Because of the sometimes brutal nature of the metal work, my wonderful and evolving new studio space is partially outdoors...I am still moving into this open and inviting workspace. The sense of place is serene.  Hummingbirds fly through, flowers bloom, bees buzz; Roadrunner passes by...all surrounded by cactus, agave and sage, and strangely the space still keeps the vibe of the horses. In the cooler evenings, after work, there is a fire pit for relaxing. It is a wonderful contrast to my small studio in Los Angeles.

This is an exclusive event for CF Members. Please RSVP at or contact with questions. If you'd like to attend this or future CF events, please consider becoming a Member to join a dynamic organization that provides sigificant support to contemporary art at Phoenix Art Museum.
