First Friday at PhxArt: Teotihuacan

This First Friday, be one of the first to see the historic Teotihuacan: City of Water, City of Fire exhibition (tickets required), and enjoy art and programming inspired by the exhibition, including a special installation by Phoenix-based artists the Fortoul Brothers in Chase Lobby, and in partnership with The Sagrado Galleria, life drawing with El Whyner and a durational performance Verbo Transitivo : Transitive Verb by Diana Calderon.
Starting at 6 pm, the evening will also feature a water blessing in honor of Teotihuacan by Curandera Patricia Federico, a traditional Aztec ceremony by Grupo Coatlicue, a contemporary dance performance by Jenny Gerena, Sana Sana and Ni De Aqui, Ni De Alla food trucks, music by DJ Smite and DJ aw.dre, a lowrider car show organized by The Arizona Super Show, and more.
‣ Food and drink (including water bottles) are not allowed in the Museum.
‣ Backpacks (large and small) are discouraged as they can damage the art. Shoulder bags are allowed.
