Japanese Cloisonné: Asian Arts Council First Wednesday Gallery Talk

Join Asian Arts Council for a discussion about the history, techniques and types of Japanese cloisonné enamel pieces from the Waynor and Laurie Rogers collection. Numerous works from this collection have been donated to Phoenix Art Museum and will be highlighted in this presentation.

Waynor and Laurie Rogers are longtime collectors of Asian art, as well as members of Asian Arts Council. Both spent several years in Asia, Waynor as a pilot in the Marine Corps and Laurie as an employee of Wang Laboratories.

The gallery talk is free for Members and included with Museum general admission. There will be a no-host luncheon following the talk in Palette, the Museum café.
