Family Workshop—Teotihuacan: City of Water, City of Fire

Members: Free admission plus $3 materials fee. 

Non-Members: Tickets are $3 per person plus General Admission.

10:30 am-12 pm (ages 4-7) and 2-4 pm (ages 8-12)

Organized in conjunction with Teotihuacan: City of Water, City of Fire, Family Workshops are hands-on experiences designed for children and adults to explore the Museum together. Museum educators will guide your family as you examine the vibrant murals of Teotihuacan and make your own work of art to take home.

Please choose between one of two sessions. The morning session is designed with the learning needs of children 4-7 years old in mind while the afternoon session is geared towards learners ages 8-12. Younger and older siblings are welcome at either session. 

10:30 am (children ages 4-7 and their adults): This 90-minute workshop will include conversation in the galleries, story time, and an age-appropriate painting activity in our studio.
2 pm (children ages 8-12 and their adults): This two-hour workshop will include extended conversation in the galleries and an age-appropriate painting activity in our studio.
