A Teen Thing

Dec 11, 2019, 6pm

Open to teens ages 13-18.
All skill levels welcome.
Join us for a teen-led workshop exploring ideas in art through in-gallery art-making opportunities. Each version of this event highlights a different work of art and features its own mix of creative connections.
Coming up on Wednesday, October 16, 6 - 7 pm: a drawing workshop for teens, hosted by teens, exploring the space-warping properties of Anish Kapoor’s Inside Out, Upside Down. The workshop will focus on reflection (both the kind that happens on mirrored surfaces and the kind that happens in your head) through a series of drawing exercises.
Previous drawing experience not required. RSVP online and meet in the main lobby at 6 PM. Open to teens ages 13-18.
Hosted by Teen Art Council.
Teen programs are made possible through the generosity of the Carstens Family Funds. They are made possible, in part, through The Diversifying Art Museum Leadership Initiative, funded by the Walton Family Foundation and the Ford Foundation, and supported by Thunderbirds Charities.
