Art Masterpiece Bootcamp: Choose Your Own Art Adventure!

9am-4:30 pm

Spend the day with us and come away ready to implement a successful Art Masterpiece program at your school. Discover techniques for engaging students in visual thinking and close looking at art. Learn strategies to create meaningful hands-on activities. Meet other Art Masterpiece volunteers to exchange tips for confidently presenting art to students.

Who should attend this event?

ANYONE looking to share their passion for art with children – No background in art required.

  • School-based volunteers
  • After-school program staff
  • Youth program leaders|
  • PTO members
  • Homeschool families

* While teachers are welcome to attend, this event is intended for informal educators, not classroom teachers. Professional development credit will not be given for attending this event. Teachers are encouraged to take part in our ongoing educator professional development programs. Visit to learn more.


Space is limited. Register early to select sessions that best meet your needs. Registration includes admission to Phoenix Art Museum, catered lunch, 
resources, and workshop materials.

Registration fees:

  • Through September 21: $10 for Museum Members, $20 for non-Members 
  • From September 22 through October 13: $25 (everyone)
