March 16 Discounted Admission
ALL DAY: 10 am–5 pm | Limited parking + discounted admission
10 am–2 pm | Abbreviated galleries open for viewing
2–5 pm | Museum galleries open as normal
On Friday, March 16, admission to the Museum and Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion is discounted to $8. The Museum is hosting a special event on-site from 10 am–2 pm and there will be an abbreviated number of galleries open for viewing during this time. The rest of the galleries will open at 2 pm and remain open until 5 pm.
Want to get an extra discount? Show us your Heard Museum ticket (we are a 10 minute walk away) or your Valley Metro ticket for $5 admission!
Parking will be extremely limited all day (10 am-5 pm), and visitors are highly encouraged to use public or alternate modes of transportation.
What's Open (10 am - 2 pm): Carlos Amorales: Black Cloud, Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion, Selections from the Schorr Collection (Ullman gallery), North Wing galleries including European and Latin American art, Thorne Miniature Rooms, Poetry in Motion, Asian art galleries and Warriors of World War I.
What's Open (after 2 pm): Everything! Includes galleries and exhibitions above and Alexander Calder: An Outburst of Color, Chase Lobby, Cummings Great Hall, Katz Wing levels 2 and 3 (includes Yayoi Kusama), Border Crossings: Mexico and the American Southwest, Video Crossings: Erick Meyenberg, Video Crossings: Mary Lucier and Logic of the Copy: Four Decades of Photography in Print.
