Teen Workshop: Photography and Nostalgia
Hit the open road (without leaving Phoenix) through this hands-on workshop focused on Longer Ways to Go: Photographs of the American Road led by artist Claire A. Warden. Reminisce about a road trip you’ve taken and explore the role of photography in creating a collective memory of a place. Then, create an artist's book inspired by Ed Ruscha’s Twentysix Gasoline Stations.
This event is free and open to middle- and high-school students. Space is limited - RSVP here!
Sponsored by Thundebirds Charities, with additional support by the Craig R. and Barbara M. Barrett Foundation along with the Alice and Jim Bazlen and Jane A. Lehman Foundation
