Out of the Vaults and Onto the Walls: The Reopening of the American Galleries
Tuesday, December 11, 2018
6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Singer Hall, Wolfswinkel Education Center

Circles of Support and Western Art Associates members are invited to a special presentation detailing the reopening of the American art galleries at Phoenix Art Museum.

Closed for more than one year, the Museum’s American galleries reopened on September 15, with five different thematic areas on view. Betsy Fahlman, PhD, the Museum’s adjunct curator of American art, will discuss the re-envisioning and reinstallation process, highlighting the 53 works acquired by the Museum with funds provided by Western Art Associates. She will also share a preview of future plans for the American galleries, made possible by a $100,000 grant from the Henry Luce Foundation.

Attendees are invited to stay after the presentation to enjoy coffee, hot cider, and desserts.

RSVP to 602.257.2115 or circles@phxart.org by Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
