James came to Arizona from the East Coast and assisted Samaritan volunteers as they provided food, water, and aid to those in the desert. As he educated himself on the realities of the situation, James found a passion in documenting these events and informing others of this critical issue through the creation of art. his photographs provide a chilling, honest perspective on a polarizing topic, and aim to change the way the Americans view the border.
