Teen Night: The Future is Now

Friday, November 17, 2017 | 6-9:30 PM
Free and open to all high school students (ages 14-18)

On November 17, the future is now. Phoenix Art Museum’s Teen Art Council presents Teen Night—a time and space to power up your creativity and envision the future—your personal future, our collective future, and the future as it was once imagined.
Make a zine with Wasted Ink Zine Distro; listen to the sweet, multi-genre tunes of Rival Coast, The Color 8, 2000 Ft. Turtle, and Cajon Dinner Party; conceptualize the future with artist Antoinette Cauley; hone your telepathic abilities; and show off your personal style in the fashion show.
Teen Night is all about celebrating and empowering youth (you!), so come to Teen Night—your future self will thank you!
This is also the perfect chance to see our special fall exhibition, Past/Future/Present: Contemporary Brazilian Art from the Museum of Modern Art, São Paulo, as well as the rest of our current exhibitions.
Parents are encouraged to drop off teens at the Museum’s main entrance, and pick up no later than 9:30 pm. This is a teen-only event.

Teen programs are supported by Thunderbirds Charities, with additional support by the Craig R. and Barbara M. Barrett Foundation along with the Alice and Jim Bazlen and Jane A. Lehman Foundation.
