Circles of Support presents an evening with Melissa Chiu at Phoenix Art Museum on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

Melissa Chiu is Director of the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the national museum of modern art. Ms. Chiu’s current goal is to rethink the museum for the twenty-first century.  In her two and a half year tenure, she has tripled the number of board members, which for the first time includes international members.  She has increased fundraising by an average of 84% per year, and raised attendance by an average of 27% per year. Additionally, she secured two multi-million dollar gifts—the largest in the Hirshhorn’s history, partially establishing a new Future Fund to support a number of new technology initiatives.

Space is limited. RSVP by Tuesday, March 28, 2017, by contacting or 602-257-2115.
